Euskadi: ¡Kaixo, in the North!

The mountains are green, the waves are blue with hints of white, and the titanium museums change colours. We are talking about culture, beaches, pintxos and txacolí, good people, cycling and walking routes, world-famous festivals and landscapes that inspire novels... Those who are looking to explore a little bit of everything beyond conventional tourism, will absolutely love this trip!

Bilbao, a city with an industrial past, now proud and clean to the traveller, will be the starting point of our journey.

We will pay Puppy a visit at the Guggenheim, and sail along the estuary in a sailboat, ending the days with pintxos washed down with zuritos and txacolí.

By bicycle or on foot, we will enjoy the surroundings, the Aitzgorri mountain range, the Bidasoa Greenway, the mystery novel landscapes of the Baztan Valley in Navarre. Of course, we can't miss the wineries of the Rioja Alavesa and the local gastronomy, a much welcome daily pleasure and energy boost before we continue our adventure to San Sebastian, the pearl of the Bay of Biscay.

DAY 1: Point of origin - Bilbao

Arrival in Bilbao, where the adventure begins. We will go on a sailboat tour from the port of Bilbao to the Guggenheim Museum, going up the estuary and discovering Bilbao's "industrial past", as we learn about the evolution of the estuary with a local historian.

Of course, a private guided tour of the Guggenheim Museum afterwards is a must.

Accomodation in a 4-star hotel.
